Condrens, a family firm, with a long history of quality of produce and service has been providing fresh fruits and vegetables to the Catering trade for many decades.
Started by Ned Condren in 1959 from his shop in Pembroke St (now Louis Copeland) he built his business up based on the best produce with the best service. As he outgrew his shop, he moved into our present location in 1984. Now owned and managed by John Condren with the same mantra Quality of Product and Service.
We are based at the Dublin Fruit Markets, sourcing produce from our network of Irish Growers, growers as local as the first early Potatoes from Rush, Co Dublin, Strawberries from the fields of Pat Barrett Swords. Dublin, Irish Potatoes from Tom Kerrigan, Lusk, Rhubarb from Paul Sunderland Wexford, Bramley Apples from the orchards of Mc Canns Armagh and Blueberries from the peatlands of Co. Offaly. Or even wild Garlic and Elderflowers foraged form the fields and forests of North Kildare.
...Further afield to Darren or Tony sourcing English Asparagus from the Norfolk Broads and Maris Piper Potatoes from the Black fens of Cambridgeshire or to Marc or Romain in Rungis in Paris supplying Chanterelle Mushrooms from the oak forests of Auvergne or Doux de Cevannes onions from Massif Central or our suppliers from Holland
France or as far flung places as White Asparagus from deepest Peru, and Sweet oranges from the groves orchards of North Africa.
